On May 17, Coach Curtis, Coach Brazeal, and several high school football players held a FREE summer football camp for students going into 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade.

On May 11, 2012, 60 sixth graders graduated from Salem Elementary. We look forward to seeing good things from this bunch in the future. Good luck in 7th grade!

The students had a great time during Track & Field Day. The two-day event consisted of several compititions in which the winners were awarded ribbons.

We are very proud of our students that competed at the district Hoop Shoot competition at Highland. Mackenzie Hill placed 3rd in the 8- to 9- year old Girls' Division, Bryson Love placed 3rd in the 8- to 9- year old Boys' Division, Taylor Looney placed 2nd in the 10- to 11- year old Girls' Divsion, and Kaylea Walling placed 2nd in the 12- to 13- year old Girls' Divison. Not Pictured: Dalton Roork competed in the 10- to 11- Boys' Divsion and Dalton Staton competed in the 12- to 13- year old Boys' Divison. Great job!!!
The Kindergarteners had a blast during PE today. It was like watching a NASCAR race!
